English Championships Congratulations to Eloise Waterman and Michele Cavallin for bringing home some trophies from this competition held in Telford, back in March. Eloise continued to prove her worthiness as world champion, winning gold in her individual sparring. She also won gold in the team sparring event. Instructor Michele won bronze in individual black belt ladies patterns, followed by an extremely close final in her individual sparring where she picked up silver. She rounded off the day by winning gold in tag team sparring. |

Christmas Party Congratulations to everyone who won awards at the party! Lewes Student of the year 2010 is Chris Cattermole Chris received this award, after a whole year of successes. He passed nearly all his gradings with an A grade even after only a few weeks of training. He helped out at the Rodmill demonstration at only yellow belt. Chris always works hard and is a dedicated student. Well done!

16th December Prepare yourself for end of year festivities - our last training session with fun and games. Please be aware that it is late night shopping in Lewes so you may struggle to park. There is a car park open at the bottom of the road parallel to the High street! Our first training session back after Christmas will be 6th January, the perfect opportunity for shedding those extra holiday pounds and going for new year goals! :)

October South East Championships in Crawley Congratulations to Katie Humphries, who received silver in sparring at the local competition. She was beaten by none other than World Champion Eloise Waterman who regularly trains at Lewes. Eloise received gold in all 3 events she entered! (patterns, sparring and team sparring). Her brother Alex received silver in sparring and silver in team sparring in his first competition. Dad Audie Waterman received bronze in individual sparring and team sparring Instructor Michele came home with a bronze in patterns, gold in sparring and gold in team sparring. Everyone had a fantastic day and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the event. |

September 9th World Championships in Telford Instructor Michele came home with bronze in individual sparring, and gold in tag team sparring. Eloise Waterman, an Eastbourne student who often trains in Lewes became World Champion in her catergory, yellow and green belt peewee girls. Well done ladies!
